The authority of the west Africa Examination Council (WAEC) as reported on Friday, has finally decided to give us the analysis or breakdown of the candidates’ performance in the November/December 2015 west Africa senior school certificate examination (WASSCE)
According to the statement by Mr,Demianus Ojijeogu its public affairs officer, who said that only 67,713 out of the 237,154 candidate that sat for the examination obtain credit in five subject and above, including English language and mathematics. 2015 NOV/Dec WASSCE GCE RESULT
However, 169,441 candidate representing 70.67 percent failed to obtain the minimum admission requirement to study in any of the nation’s universities.
Meanwhile to be admitted in any of the higher institution of the federation, a candidate must obtain credits in five subject, including English language and mathematics
The statement read, “In the Nov/Dec 2015 WASSCE for private candidates, a total of 67,713 candidates, representing 29.33 per cent obtained credits in five subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics.”
